Connect Berliner Sparkasse without learning EBICS.

The bank publishes its access data and a full order-type schedule mapped to EBICS 3.0. Statements are camt only, the cut-off is 19:30, and the bank keys rotate in September 2026. We handle all of it.

The rest are key management and protocol housekeeping. They carry no business transaction format and you never see one — we run them during setup and afterwards.

What is still ahead

  1. The bank’s own EBICS keys are replaced, and yearly from then on. Every client must fetch the new keys and confirm the new hashes by hand or communication stops. Berliner Sparkasse has not published its date; siblings on the same platform cite different days.

  2. pain.001.001.09 replaces pain.001.001.03, pain.008.001.08 replaces pain.008.001.02. Our engine emits both.

  3. DTAZV is withdrawn and AZV gives way to AXZ. We have never produced DTAZV, so we drive AXZ already.

  4. Payments with unstructured addresses are rejected. Canonical input 1.1 has taken street, building number, post code, town and country as separate fields since it shipped.

Five steps to a live connection.

You do not need to know what any of the codes above mean.

  1. 1

Ask the bank to enable EBICS

The bank's documented route is an appointment, not a form. We draft the request, you send it, and you tell us when it has gone.

  2. 2

    Set up from the Bankparameterblatt

The bank returns a Bankparameterblatt carrying your Partner ID and User ID. The public values are already known, so most of the form is filled in.

  3. 3

    Send the initialisation letter

We print it with the modulus and hash of your public key in hex, as the bank's terms require. You sign it and send it; the bank checks the hashes match what arrived over EBICS.

  4. 4

Verify the bank and go live

After release we fetch the bank's keys and check them against its published hashes. Then you choose the approval policy and the connection switches on.

  5. 5

    In production

Payments go out as pain.001, statements come back as camt.053, unattended.
