Questions

What is Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank's EBICS Host ID and URL?
Host ID BLKBEBI, address https://ebics.swisscom.com/ebics-server/ebics.aspx on port 443. BLKB publishes both on its EBICS connection-parameter sheet, together with the hash values of its authentication (X002) and encryption (E002) keys.
Which EBICS versions does BLKB support?
BLKB's parameter sheet lists EBICS 2.5 (H004) and EBICS 3.0 (H005); the host answers H003 (02.40), H004 (02.50) and H005 (03.00). EBICS 2.4 was discontinued on 21 November 2025. From November 2026 BLKB supports only EBICS 3.0, and EBICS 2.5 serves only PDF downloads and LSV TA875.
Which keys and signature version does BLKB require?
X002 for authentication, E002 for encryption and A005 or A006 for the electronic signature, with keys of at least 2048 bit. After INI and HIA, the signed initialisation letter goes to BLKB by post. Once BLKB has released your keys, you download its keys with HPB and check them against the hash values on its parameter sheet.
Does BLKB support the distributed electronic signature (VEU)?
Yes. BLKB lists HVU, HVZ, HVD, HVT, HVE and HVS, and offers a free VEU app for releasing EBICS payment orders on mobile. The signature type and signature class must be notified to BLKB in writing before VEU is used.
Which order types does BLKB use for EBICS 3.0?
Payments upload as BTU MCT/CH/pain.001 and LSV+ collections as BTU DDD/CH/ta875. Downloads are BTD: PSR/CH/pain.002, STM/CH/camt.052, EOP/CH/camt.053, EOP/CH/mt940, REP/CH/camt.054, and FXC, STR, SSM and SEV with scope GLB for MT300, MT515, MT535 and MT566.
What are BLKB's payment cut-off times?
BLKB does not publish a cut-off for EBICS orders. Its cut-off factsheet covers E-Banking and Mobile Banking: CHF in Switzerland by 15:00 on the value date, SEPA payments in euro by 11:00, other euro payments by 15:00, and USD and GBP by 13:00 (CET). Urgent payments are not offered; every payment runs at the same priority.
Can I connect my ERP to Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank?
Yes. You send canonical JSON and BankConnector produces the pain.001.001.09 file the Swiss Payment Standards describe, then reads camt and pain.002 back into one normalised format. SEPA credit transfers, Swiss domestic transfers, QR-bill payments and international payments are supported. Direct debits are not.

Dates the bank has announced. What we do about each one is ours.

Upcoming events in our register

  1. BLKB supports only EBICS 3.0. EBICS 2.5 stays usable for PDF downloads and LSV TA875 only; pain.001 version 09 and camt version 08 need EBICS 3.0.

  2. Support for ISO 20022 version 2009 ends. pain.001.001.03.ch.02 files must move to pain.001.001.09 by 14 Nov 2026, and BLKB switches camt.052, camt.053 and camt.054 deliveries from version 04 to 08 on that date. Our engine already produces pain.001.001.09 for BLKB.

  3. Payments with unstructured addresses are rejected. Structured addresses become mandatory; hybrid addresses remain possible.

  4. euroSIC is discontinued. A successor for euro payments within Switzerland is to be provided; its date is not published.

  5. LSV+ and Business Direct Debit end.

If all of this looks like a lot  ·  it does not have to be

Five steps to a live BLKB connection.

You do not need to know what any of the codes above mean. Our setup guide walks you through it one screen at a time.

  1. 1

    Request the agreement from BLKB

EBICS starts with paperwork. We draft the email, you send it, and you tell us when it has gone. There is nothing to configure until the bank replies.

  2. 2

Set up and send your keys

Enter the values from the agreement BLKB returns. We already hold the ones that are public, so most of the form is filled in. Then one press generates your three key pairs and sends the public halves.

  3. 3

    Prove your identity on paper

EBICS confirms the key exchange on paper, by design. We print the initialisation letter carrying the fingerprints BLKB will check. You sign it by hand and send it.

  4. 4

    Verify BLKB and go live

While you wait, we fetch the bank's public keys and check them against the fingerprints it gives you over a separate channel. When that lands, you choose which approval policy governs payments here, and the connection switches on.

  5. 5

You are now in production with BLKB

Payments go out as pain.001 and statements come back as camt. The connection runs unattended from here.
