Questions

What is Schwyzer Kantonalbank's EBICS Host ID and URL?
Host ID PB2SZK, client ID SZK. The host answers at https://szkbebicsprod.sbswiss.ch/ebicsweb/ebicsweb; SZKB publishes its bank parameter URL as www.szkbebicsprod.sbswiss.ch/ebicsweb. The EBICS service is run by Finastra Switzerland GmbH as a service bureau.
Which EBICS versions does SZKB support?
SZKB states that it supports EBICS 3.0 only. The host's version answer lists H002, H003, H004 and H005. The move to EBICS 3.0 and to ISO 20022 version 2019 must be complete by November 2026 at the latest.
Which keys does SZKB require for EBICS?
A005 for the signature, E002 for encryption and X002 for authentication, each at least 2048 bits, in X.509 format on EBICS 3.0, with transport on TLS 1.2 or higher. Shorter keys are replaced with HCS, HCA and PUB. After the switch is reported with H005, the bank keys are downloaded as certificates.
Do I need a separate agreement for EBICS at SZKB?
Yes. SZKB requires a separate EBICS subscriber agreement. It offers EBICS to corporate clients with international cash management, alongside E-Banking file upload and bLink.
Which files can I exchange with SZKB over EBICS?
SZKB lists pain.001 credit transfers, pain.002 status reports, pain.008 LSV direct debits, camt.053 account statements and camt.054 files with QR and ESR credits. The BTFs for EBICS 3.0 are on SZKB's bank parameter data sheet, which is not published.
What are Schwyzer Kantonalbank's payment cut-off times?
SZKB publishes no cut-off for EBICS orders. Its cut-off sheet gives 15:45 CET for electronically transmitted domestic CHF and EUR, SEPA and international transfers. Orders received later are executed on the next possible bank working day, and cut-offs may be earlier before public holidays.
Can I connect my ERP to Schwyzer Kantonalbank?
Yes. You send canonical JSON and BankConnector produces the pain.001.001.09 file the Swiss Payment Standards describe, then reads camt and pain.002 back into one normalised format. SEPA credit transfers, Swiss domestic transfers, QR-bill payments and international payments are supported.

If all of this looks like a lot  ·  it does not have to be

Five steps to a live SZKB connection.

You do not need to know what any of the codes above mean. Our setup guide walks you through it one screen at a time.

  1. 1

    Request the agreement from SZKB

EBICS starts with paperwork. We draft the email, you send it, and you tell us when it has gone. There is nothing to configure until the bank replies.

  2. 2

Set up and send your keys

Enter the values from the agreement SZKB returns. We already hold the ones that are public, so most of the form is filled in. Then one press generates your three key pairs and sends the public halves.

  3. 3

    Prove your identity on paper

EBICS confirms the key exchange on paper, by design. We print the initialisation letter carrying the fingerprints SZKB will check. You sign it by hand and send it.

  4. 4

    Verify SZKB and go live

While you wait, we fetch the bank's public keys and check them against the fingerprints it gives you over a separate channel. When that lands, you choose which approval policy governs payments here, and the connection switches on.

  5. 5

You are now in production with SZKB

Payments go out as pain.001 and statements come back as camt. The connection runs unattended from here.
