Files under CCT, CTV, CIP, CIV, CCU, XCT, AXZ, CDD, CDB and the four service-bureau upload types are validated against the DFÜ Agreement of the German Banking Industry Committee. The camt .08 versions and the PDF statement and invoice depend on the country of the account.

Eight more cover the German service-bureau (SRZ) procedure: a service bureau submits the file, and you sign it.

Questions

What is ING Germany's EBICS Host ID and URL?
Host ID ING, address https://insidebusinessconnect.ingwb.com/ebics/EbicsServlet on port 443. ING gives its public bank keys and certificates in the Access Letter at setup, and issues the participant ID and each user ID then too.
Which EBICS versions does ING support?
EBICS 2.4 (H003), 2.5 (H004) and 3.0 (H005). ING has not published an end date for 2.4 or 2.5. It accepts X002 authentication keys, E002 encryption keys and A005 or A006 signatures.
What does EBICS cost at ING in Germany?
ING Bank's German tariff brochure, effective 1 July 2026, lists €280.00 a month for InsideBusiness Connect, EBICS and SWIFTNet, and a one-off €5,000.00 set-up. Reporting over the channel adds €20.00 a month per account, format and channel for end-of-day statements and €30.00 for intraday reports.
When does ING withdraw the older German SEPA formats over EBICS?
1 November 2026. From that day pain.001.002.03 and pain.001.003.03 move to pain.001.001.09, pain.008.003.02 and pain.008.001.01 move to pain.008.001.08, and MT100 and MT101 over EBICS end. ING has no plans to withdraw pain.001.001.03 or pain.008.001.02.
Does ING support Verification of Payee over EBICS?
Yes. CTV and CIV submit with the payee check opted in, CCT and CIP with it opted out, and VPZ returns the result as pain.002.001.10. A stand-alone check runs under YCV, with its result under ZPV.
Can I connect my ERP to ING Germany?
Yes. You send canonical JSON and BankConnector produces the pain.001.001.03 file, or pain.001.001.09 where your agreement names it, and reads camt and pain.002 back into one normalised format. SEPA credit transfers, SEPA instant, domestic account transfers and international payments are supported. Direct debits are not.

Upcoming events in our register

  1. The older German SEPA formats end on EBICS: pain.001.002.03 and pain.001.003.03 move to pain.001.001.09, pain.008.003.02 to pain.008.001.08, and MT101 over EBICS stops. We produce pain.001.001.03, which ING keeps, and pain.001.001.09.

If all of this looks like a lot  ·  it does not have to be

Five steps to a live ING connection.

You do not need to know what any of the codes above mean. Our setup guide walks you through it one screen at a time.

  1. 1

    Request the agreement from ING

EBICS starts with paperwork. We draft the email, you send it, and you tell us when it has gone. There is nothing to configure until the bank replies.

  2. 2

Set up and send your keys

Enter the values from the agreement ING returns. We already hold the ones that are public, so most of the form is filled in. Then one press generates your three key pairs and sends the public halves.

  3. 3

    Prove your identity on paper

EBICS confirms the key exchange on paper, by design. We print the initialisation letter carrying the fingerprints ING will check. You sign it by hand and send it.

  4. 4

    Verify ING and go live

While you wait, we fetch the bank's public keys and check them against the fingerprints it gives you over a separate channel. When that lands, you choose which approval policy governs payments here, and the connection switches on.

  5. 5

You are now in production with ING

Payments go out as pain.001 and statements come back as camt. The connection runs unattended from here.
