Questions

What is Raiffeisen Switzerland's EBICS Host ID and URL?
Raiffeisen does not publish them. The further set-up data for an EBICS access is on the bank parameter sheet, which your Raiffeisen bank sends when the contract is concluded, together with your EBICS keys and access information.
Which EBICS versions does Raiffeisen support?
EBICS 3.x, the current version, and EBICS 2.5. Raiffeisen recommends EBICS 3.0 for new contracts; existing contracts do not have to be changed. The transition period ends on 13 November 2026, after which EBICS 2.5 is no longer supported and payments and account information in the old format are no longer processed.
How does the distributed signature work at Raiffeisen?
Your system submits the payment with the transport signature T, which cannot approve or release. Your Raiffeisen bank checks it and parks it in the VEU folder. Users approve with A or B, or release directly with the single signature E; A and B together form a collective signature. Raiffeisen checks the release and executes the payment, and the confirmation appears in your software and in Raiffeisen Business Banking.
Which order types does Raiffeisen use for EBICS 3.0?
Payments upload as BTU MCT/CH/pain.001. Downloads are BTD: PSR/CH/pain.002 (also with option XUPD for reports from processing), STM/CH/camt.052, EOP/CH/camt.053, REP/CH/camt.054 (also with option XDDD for LSV credits) and DAR/CH for PDF documents, all in a ZIP, plus EOP/DE/mt940 and STM/DE/mt942. The EBICS 2.5 equivalents are XE2, Z01, ZZA, Z52, Z53, Z54, ZS2, ZDF, STA and VMK.
What are Raiffeisen's payment cut-off times for EBICS?
Raiffeisen's cut-off factsheet gives 15:00 CET for the Raiffeisen Business Banking / EBICS / Swift channel, for single and collective payments alike. CHF, EUR, DKK, GBP, NOK, SEK, CAD, USD, RON, MXN and PLN are due on the value date; CZK, HUF, AUD, HKD, NZD, THB, TRY and ZAR one bank working day before; JPY and SGD two. Orders after the cut-off are executed on the next possible bank working day.
What does EBICS cost at Raiffeisen?
The EBICS standard is free of charge; the usual account and payment prices of your Raiffeisen bank apply. The Payments module of Raiffeisen Business Banking is free, Multibanking over EBICS for up to 10 banks costs CHF 10 a month and Cash Management CHF 40 a month.
What changes at Raiffeisen in November 2026?
On 13 November 2026 the transition periods for EBICS 3.0 and ISO 20022 version 2019 end. EBICS 2.5 and version 2009 are no longer supported from that date. Raiffeisen asks EBICS users to move to EBICS 3.0 first and then to version 2019, and to agree the camt switch date with their corporate client adviser.
Can I connect my ERP to Raiffeisen Switzerland?
Yes. You send canonical JSON and BankConnector produces pain.001.001.09 to the Swiss Payment Standards ch.03 schema, then reads camt and pain.002 back into one normalised format. SEPA credit transfers, Swiss domestic transfers, QR-bill payments and international payments are supported. Direct debits are not.

Upcoming events in our register

  1. EBICS 2.5 and ISO 20022 version 2009 end. Payments and account information in the old formats are no longer processed. Our engine already produces pain.001.001.09 for Raiffeisen.

  2. Last submission of LSV+/BDD direct debits, until 14:00. The last processing date is 29 September 2028; later collections are rejected.

  3. LSV+ and BDD are discontinued. Direct debits with and without right of objection are no longer possible.

If all of this looks like a lot  ·  it does not have to be

Five steps to a live Raiffeisen connection.

You do not need to know what any of the codes above mean. Our setup guide walks you through it one screen at a time.

  1. 1

    Request the agreement from Raiffeisen

EBICS starts with paperwork. We draft the email, you send it, and you tell us when it has gone. There is nothing to configure until the bank replies.

  2. 2

Set up and send your keys

Enter the values from the agreement Raiffeisen returns. We already hold the ones that are public, so most of the form is filled in. Then one press generates your three key pairs and sends the public halves.

  3. 3

    Prove your identity on paper

EBICS confirms the key exchange on paper, by design. We print the initialisation letter carrying the fingerprints Raiffeisen will check. You sign it by hand and send it.

  4. 4

    Verify Raiffeisen and go live

While you wait, we fetch the bank's public keys and check them against the fingerprints it gives you over a separate channel. When that lands, you choose which approval policy governs payments here, and the connection switches on.

  5. 5

You are now in production with Raiffeisen

Payments go out as pain.001 and statements come back as camt. The connection runs unattended from here.
